Still my fav spot in the Bay Area for hand pulled noodles! It's a small-ish sit down restaurant, but service is quick and there are lots of options to choose from. Each table has a descriptive card detailing their noodle options (e.g. thick, thin, flat, round). You can order via the QR code on the table or with one of the staff to modify your order. FOOD: *Chili oil noodles -- oh my goodness I've had this at least 6x now and can't seem to order anything else. I will say, the flavor is better at this Milpitas location than the Cupertino one. The Cupertino location's is more dull in flavor. I love how they cut the vegetables up since you'll need to do some mixing for the chili oil sauce to cover everything thoroughly. It has such a nice tang to it and the vegetables satisfy the need for a different texture. My friends, parents, and partner's family enjoyed it too! PARKING: A lot of storefront spaces had signs saying they were reserved, but overall the plaza has a manageable amount of parking. The longest walk you'd have to make is prob 2 min.

Great place!!!! My friends and I were looking for a place to eat with homey food and glad we found this spot! It was really easy to find and we were seated right away. Everything on the menu was reasonably priced and portions looked very big. The staff was very attentive and friendly and was able to get our orders quickly and got our food to us right away. The food really hit the spot and would recommend anyone to try it out!

This spot is so delicious! Huge portions at a very affordable price and they have a variety of menu items. My favorites are the sesame paste liang pi and the spicy wontons! The liang pi is so delicious and authentic and the spicy wontons have the most flavorful chili oil sauce. My boyfriend also enjoyed the braised beef stew noodles with the medium round noodles. The service here is quick and the staff is attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this spot! :)

Came here around 7pm with 2 friends and the place was almost full! We got sat quickly though and the ambiance was cozy and comfortable with conversations all around. The price for the portion is very reasonable. $14.59 before tax + tip for my braised pork intestines noodle soup with small round noodles. I kept eating yet it felt like there was still a lot left! Highly recommend this place!

Such big servings for a reasonable price! I got the braised beef small flat noodle stew and it was so yummy! It came with ALOT of noodles and meat that I saved half for another meal. The broth was really flavorful and it definitely hits the spot during a cold day. The service was really fast! We got our food very quickly and we were out of the restaurant within an hour. The staff were really friendly even though we had little interaction since we order through a QR code.

Been coming here for quite a few years now, and it's definitely one of the most authentic spots for Lanzhou hand pulled noodles in the bay. Prices are reasonable considering inflation. Favorites include the lanzhou beef noodle soup and the spicy meat paste noodles (don't sleep on this one, it's so good!) They have other dishes besides noodles that are also really good (at least the ones we've tried) specifically the pork/shrimp dumplings and pig ears. In a small plaza but worth the visit!

It was a cold day, and my friends and I wanted some soup! We opted for Ox 9, and were nervous to come 45 minutes before closing. The servers were still so nice and told us to sit anywhere! The shop is relatively spacious with lots of seating. They have lots of traditional decorations, and a little moving noodle soup machine display in front! I got the Cold Noodle with Chicken Slices with regular round noodles, and it was very good! The noodle portion was very generous, and I had enough chicken and veggies to balance it out. I forgot it had the numbing spice in the sauce, and I should've requested to take it out, but otherwise it was a great dish. My friends got the noodle soups and also said it was good, but they needed more spice. They had to put a lot of chili oil to make it to their liking. Definitely a nice, cozy spot for some good noodle soup!

Stumbled upon this place after a night out during lunch time. There was no wait and my party was seated right away. We order off a QR code and the food came out relatively fast. The broth of the noodle soup is amazing and the meat is super tender. I like how we get to choose the type of noodle for our soup. I got the thick wide noodles and my friend got the thin noodles. Would def come here again next time I crave a noodle soup!
